Job summary

Advocate Medical Group - Lake Zurich location is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks. This role involves patient intake, vital signs, history taking, and assisting with exams under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or MA certification and relevant experience; phlebotomy skills are preferred. Flexible schedule includes M-F hours with Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality care.
