Job summary

The IMA Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers during medical evaluations in a structured clinical environment. This is a full-time position with no on-call responsibilities.

The role includes taking vitals, collecting medical histories, assisting with phlebotomy and EKGs, and maintaining exam rooms and records to ensure efficient patient flow. Schedule is 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM in New York, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA program preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience required; MA certification a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient evaluations.
• Take vitals and medical histories.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and routine clinical procedures.
• Maintain medical records and exam room readiness.
