UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver patient care in a physician office under a licensed physician. The role includes clinical tasks and may require clerical, insurance, and medical records support.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited MA program with certification or registration; EMTs may substitute. A minimum of one year of ambulatory care experience is preferred.

Flexibility to float to other UF Health practices is expected to cover staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited MA program with certification or registration.
• EMT license accepted in lieu of MA certification.
• Minimum 1 year direct patient care in ambulatory setting preferred.
• Demonstrates initiative, multitasking ability, and willingness to assume additional responsibilities.
• Proven problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physician.
• Perform clerical, insurance, and medical records tasks as needed.
• May float to other UFHP practices to support staffing.
