Berger Health System is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physician-delivered patient care and EMR documentation within an Ohio practice. You will prepare patients for visits, perform administrative tasks, and help maintain a clean environment while following licensure and policy guidelines.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least one qualifying program or EMT-P certification, plus BLS. Day shift in a clinical setting with standard 40-hour weeks is expected.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED and one of the listed programs or certifications.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates efficient patient flow and prepares patients for visits.
• Performs EMR documentation and administrative duties as needed.
• Maintains clean work environment and reports equipment issues.
• Communicates with patients respectfully and assists care team.
• Supports quality improvement and adoption of new services.

Conhecimentos

Medical Assistant experience

Formação académica

High School or GED (Required)

Completion of a High School Medical Assistant Career Technical Program

Graduation from an accredited School of Medical Assisting

Completion of Military Medic training

Certification as a Paramedic EMT-P
