Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield Behavioral Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care and administrative tasks. You will prepare patients, assist during visits, ensure EMR documentation, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and one of several MA training paths, or equivalent experience; BLS; and a willingness to learn EPIC EMR. This full-time day shift offers 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of MA program/certification or equivalent experience required.
• At least one year of physician-trained MA experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and patient data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and assist providers in clinical tasks.
• Ensure EMR documentation accuracy and in-basket management.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and report equipment issues.
• Communicate with patients respectfully and coordinate with the health care team.
• Support quality and efficiency initiatives and participate in training.
