Job summary

Methodist Medical Group, the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System, seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff in delivering patient care. The role reports to the office manager and performs routine clinical procedures under physician direction.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, 2+ years of experience preferred, and certification as a Medical Assistant or certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program for medical assistants.
• Min of 2 year(s) of professional medical assisting in a practice setting preferred.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification or obtained certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification required from AHA (American Heart Association)
