Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
• BLS Certification is preferred.
• NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board is required.

Responsibilities

• To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs
• Perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the physician
• Participate in patient education and enter documentation into patients' health records
