vTech Solution is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a cardiology clinic with a focus on electrophysiology. The MA-C will perform patient care tasks such as EKGs and heart monitor placement, and support administrative duties including chart preparation, medication refills, and post-operative calls.

Requirements include MA-C certification, BLS, at least 6 months MA experience, EPIC EHR experience, and reliable transportation.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant (MA-C) will provide clinical and administrative support in a cardiology clinic with a focus on electrophysiology. The MA-C will collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care. Candidates must have at least 6 months of MA experience, BLS certification, and reliable personal transportation.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Active Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in cardiology or primary care.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Reliable personal transportation (public transportation not acceptable).

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Experience specifically in electrophysiology or cardiology clinics.
• Prior experience with heart monitor placement and post-op patient follow-up calls.

Special Considerations

• Position is TEMP TO HIRE and open only to local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• Candidate must be willing to travel regularly to satellite clinics in the region.
• Facility may call off the traveler up to one shift every two weeks.
• Candidate must have no additional scheduling restrictions and reliable transportation is mandatory.

Scheduling

• Five 8-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Block scheduling is not accommodated.
• Shift assignments are consistent with no weekend or overnight shifts.
