Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England’s Enfield Primary Care Center is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant for day shifts to support a busy practice. You will coordinate patient flow, prepare exam rooms, escort patients to treatment areas, collect information for medical records, and document details in patient charts.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of related experience, a high school diploma, and preferred Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting or MA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience is required.
• Knowledge of medical assisting normally associated with obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance is preferred, National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms and patients for examination.
• Documents patient vital signs and notes in the medical record.
• Files lab/diagnostic results and ensures accurate chart documentation.
• Coordinates patient flow and assists front office with scheduling and calls.
