Job summary

HCA Florida Palm Beach Surgical Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team and support patient-focused care in a busy clinical setting. This full-time, day-shift role offers the chance to work closely with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality, efficient patient experiences.

As a Medical Assistant, you will prepare patients, take histories and vital signs, assist with examinations and minor procedures, perform injections, and support lab testing and phlebotomy.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• Comfortable assisting with gynecologic examinations and procedures.
• Women''s Health/Gynecologic Oncology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment including sterilization.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer calls to the practice and screen for referrals.
