Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for the Coffee Creek Primary Care Outpatient Clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma. This day shift position provides vital patient care including vitals, history, venipuncture, and referrals under the supervision of a provider.

The role requires MA certification or 6 months clinic MA experience, English communication skills, and CPR/BLS within 90 days. Beneficiaries include front-loaded PTO and access to INTEGRIS Health network benefits.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents information about patient condition, including lab values and education needs.
• Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients.
• Monitors and documents patient status.
• Participates in development of the plan of care and implementation of care interventions.
• Manages large call volume while maintaining telephone etiquette.
• Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
• Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.
