Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers, greet patients, and assist with exams and procedures. You will be essential in creating a positive patient experience and coordinating care across the team.

This full-time, day shift role requires a high school diploma or GED and MA training; EMT/Paramedic credentials are a plus. Growth opportunities exist within our mission-driven organization across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED plus MA program/externship, EMT, or Paramedic training.
• MA non-credentialed I eligible or EMT with current/state license; Paramedic per National Registry or state license.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
