Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient patient flow including preparing the patient for the visit and providing services as determined by providers.
• Performs EMR documentation in Care Connect and maintains the EMR inbox.
• Maintains and cleans the clinical environment, equipment, and reports malfunctions.
• Communicates with patients respectfully and collaborates with the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Collects and monitors patient data and documents chargeable items/services.
• Supports quality improvement and efficiency initiatives within the practice.
• Acts as a clinical preceptor/trainer for new staff as needed.
