Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Medical Assistant to prepare patients for office visits and support an outpatient Surgery specialty office. Responsibilities include room preparation, taking patient history, entering data into the medical record, and coordinating patient flow with front desk staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of related experience, and preferred knowledge of medical assisting with an Associate’s Degree; certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience required.
• Knowledge of medical assisting typically associated with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting is preferred; National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms; prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Obtains pertinent history and vital signs; documents in medical records.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic results and clinical notes.
• Coordinates patient flow; collaborates with receptionist to ensure timely visits.
• Assists front office with calls, scheduling, and other duties as needed.
