Job summary

Qualifications

• CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA certifications required upon hire.
• Associate degree or completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Ability to collect blood, perform EKGs, and administer basic waived lab tests.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other specimens from patients and manage orders/reports.
• Perform EKGs, tympanograms, oximetry, pulmonary function tests, and monitor setup.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain autoclave records; assist with QA and process improvements.
• Coordinate lab orders with physicians and nursing home facilities.
