Job summary

Sentara Health's Medical Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Princess Anne team. You will perform patient care and related clerical tasks under supervision of physicians and nurses, supporting the delivery of high-quality care in a busy outpatient setting.

This is a full-time, days position with a Monday–Friday schedule. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and active CMA/CCMA/RMA or NREMT-Basic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic certification required; BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision of physicians and nursing staff.
