Job summary

Heart and Vascular Care in Georgia is hiring a Medical Assistant to perform full triage, take vitals, and record patient information across multiple offices. The role includes preparing charts, refilling medications, and occasional travel with mileage reimbursement.

We offer medical/dental/vision, disability, 401k, PTO, life insurance, holiday pay, and reimbursement for certifications and scrubs. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a dependable team player.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• If not nationally certified, must gain certification within six months of employment (CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT).

Responsibilities

• Full triage.
• Taking manual vitals/blood pressure.
• EKG's.
• Recording and updating patient information.
• Chart prep.
• Medication refills.
• Some travel between offices (Cumming/Dawsonville); mileage reimbursed.

Job description

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Some travel may sporadically be required between offices (Cumming/Dawsonville) to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.

Requirements:

• Dependable team player is a must.
