Job summary

Heart and Vascular Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The role includes triage, vitals, EKGs, chart prep and medication refills, with occasional travel between offices and mileage reimbursement.

We offer comprehensive benefits, lunch n’ learns, certification cost reimbursement, scrubs, and a team-focused, patient-centered environment. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be a dependable team player with a good work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• If not nationally certified, must gain certification within six months of employment (CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)

Responsibilities

• Provide full triage and patient intake.
• Take manual vitals and blood pressure.
• Perform EKGs and record patient information.
• Prepare charts and update records.
• Process medication refills as needed.
• Occasional travel to other HVC offices; mileage reimbursed.

We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team!

Benefits:

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Full triage
• Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
• EKG's
• Recording and updating patient information
• Chart prep
• Medication refills
• Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.

Requirements:

• Dependable team player is a must.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
