LOCATION: Foster Family Community Health Center (Travel in Northern MI required - Company Vehicle Provided)

We handle a variety of work-related injuries, conduct surveillance testing, and perform employment physicals to ensure employee health across the nation.

Some duties may include:

1. Assist in patient assessments and intake procedures, ensuring proper documentation of information obtained.
2. Perform clinical tasks such as blood draws, injections, pulmonary function testing (PFT), and audiometric testing. Travel across Northern Michigan to conduct onsite audiometric testing for employers.
3. Obtain certification to perform DOT drug screening and breath alcohol testing.
4. Administer vaccinations and TB skin tests.
5. Engage in and promote patient education as appropriate.
6. Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and reporting results.

What’s Required:

CREDENTIALLED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
• BLS certification preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

NON-CREDENTIALLED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting supporting providers and patients, or graduation from an approved Medical Assistant Program by Munson Healthcare.
• BLS certification preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
