Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers; navigate web-based applications.
• MA, EMT, CNA, LNA certificate or diploma or at least 5 months patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assisting duties including vital signs, phlebotomy and assisting during routine procedures.
• Ensures patient care areas are clean, organized, stocked and ready for use; escorts patients as needed.
• Performs point-of-care testing and communicates test instructions to patients.
• Monitors equipment and supplies; maintains proper expiration dates.
• Reviews medication lists in EMR; assists with renewals under supervision and documents tasks for billing.
