Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with examinations and nursing procedures. The role requires completion of a Medical Assisting Program and a high school diploma, with at least 6 months of clinical experience preferred.

You will assist with immunizations, specimen collection, and patient care, while maintaining equipment, inventory, and infection control standards across Centro Del Barrio sites.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent and completion of Medical Assisting Program.
• Experience: 6 months in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
• Must be able to deliver excellent customer service and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history, vital signs, and document in the medical record.
• Administer immunizations per protocol and provide injections per provider orders.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Maintain treatment room equipment and stock supplies.
• Perform lab duties including QC, specimen processing, and documentation.
• Travel to other Centro Del Barrio sites as needed.
