OSUP Community Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support direct patient care and routine procedures within a physician-led setting. You will room patients, record vitals, interview patients, and assist with exams according to clinical protocol.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, collecting samples, performing basic lab tests, and maintaining communications with patients and providers.

Purpose:
The Medical Assistantrolesassistwith direct patient care, andperformsspecialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated byestablishedclinical protocol.Assistmedical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
High School Diploma or equivalent along with at least one of the following:
A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program OR Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience OR Military Medic training OR EMT-P (Paramedic) training OR Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education
Preferences:
Medical Assistant Certification
