Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification, or related experience.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.
• All credentials maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the provider's direction, including vitals, health history and screenings.
• Conduct administrative duties and front desk coverage as needed.
• Schedule, referrals, chart prep and prior authorizations; assist with point-of-care testing.
