Job summary

Just 4 Kids Urgent Care in Idaho Falls is seeking a Medical Assistant, CNA, or EMT to provide an excellent patient experience in a busy clinic.

You will prepare examination rooms, take histories and vital signs, screen calls, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records. You may cross-train to front desk or x-ray and ensure organized, clean work areas while supporting clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older to apply.
• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully complete new hire training program.
• Maintain current BLS certificate.
• Maintain current MA, CNA, or EMT license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
• Take patient histories and vital signs.
• Screen and direct patient calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA).
• Provide accurate and timely documentation to staff, insurance carriers and clinic leadership.
• Correspondence by phone, in person, or in writing with regard to patient care, i.e. insurance carriers, physicians, non-clinic physicians.
• Maintain patient records for clinical use, medical records use, billing use, physicians’ review, etc.
• Document patient files, records, forms, and other info.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Be sure work area appears neat, well stocked, and organized.
• Maintain disposable and non-disposable supplies, i.e. wound care supplies, laundry, etc.
• Provide general information of department policies and procedures.
• Attend required meetings, re-certifications, and participate in committees as requested.
• Maintain clean, professional working/treatment area.
• Cross-train in other positions, such as front desk and/or x-ray.
• Accept and assume responsibility for special projects as they arise.

Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Up to 10%
