Millennium Physician Group in Tampa is seeking a full-time Tampa Region Float Medical Assistant CMA/RMA to join the Primary Care team. You will assist physicians in examinations, collect vitals, take medical histories, and support patient care in a fast-paced office.

This role requires positive and organized individuals. Training will be provided on EHR systems (Athena), patient portal, and referral processes; benefits include 401(k) with match, PTO, health/dental/vision plans, and growth

Qualifications

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Certification
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Type at least 40 WPM; strong computer skills and EMR experience preferred (Athena) - listed as requirements

You will be responsible for top notch Patient Experience for every patient that walks into the office. You will be assisting in examination and treatment of patients under direction of the Physician, ARNP or PA by collecting patient vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to give the best patient care.Millennium will provide you with ample training. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
