Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in North Port, FL is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support both front office and clinical teams, delivering patient-centered care. You will be the first point of contact, assisting with check-in and ensuring a smooth visit.

You will also support providers with exams, intake, basic tests, and patient education, contributing to a fast-paced clinic while upholding high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant in ambulatory care.
• Proficiency with patient intake, rooming, and clinical documentation workflows.
• Knowledge of point-of-care testing, specimen handling, and medication support.
• Familiarity with infection prevention and care-gap documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient rooming, intake, and visit preparation.
• Support provider needs and coordinate procedure prep.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen handling with accuracy.
• Review charts and visit readiness to support efficient encounters.
• Support quality initiatives and documentation improvements.
