Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Pediatric Primary Care Clinic in Richmond, VA. You will provide age-specific care under the physician, support patient flow, and maintain accurate medical records in a busy pediatric setting.

This full-time role requires CMA certification and BLS, with shift rotations including days, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) from a recognized national association.
• AHA BLS Health Care Provider certification or equivalent.
• One year of medical assistant work experience within the last three years if not a graduate of a medical assistant program.
• Two to three years of CMA experience preferred in an academic health care environment.
