Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a multispecialty clinic on days (Mon-Fri, 8–5). The CMA will provide direct, age-appropriate patient care under physician supervision across Cardiology, Pulmonology and Urology.

Requirements include current CMA certification from a recognized national association, high school diploma, and 1 year of MA experience unless graduated from an approved program.

Qualifications

• One year of medical assistant work experience within the last three years if not a graduate of a medical assistant program.
• No work experience if graduate of a medical assistant program.
• Experience using a personal computer and various software applications, including Microsoft Outlook/mail.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
