Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Helena, MT to hire compassionate Medical Assistants and CMAs for primary care as well as medical and surgical specialty clinics. You will support both clinical and administrative functions in ambulatory settings, delivering patient care with attention to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, CMA certification within 6 months, and BLS updated

Qualifications

• High school diploma, HiSET, or GED equivalent preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CMA certification within 6 months of hire and BLS certification maintained every two years.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Support daily clinic operations and assist providers with exams and procedures.
• Administer diagnostic tests, immunizations, and medications.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR.
• Coordinate refills, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Communicate test results and follow up with patients.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinic readiness.
• Participate in quality improvement and promote patient safety.
• Collaborate with providers to deliver coordinated care.
