Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Cumming, GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN, or EMT to join our fast-paced urgent care team. This full-time position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends, and travel between local clinics in Cumming, Oakwood, and Gainesville.

You will assist providers, take vital signs, perform basic labs and wound care, maintain rooms, and ensure patient comfort while delivering quick, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or licensed as an LPN/EMT.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied tasks.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
• Take vital signs and document patient information.
• Perform lab tests, basic wound care, and assist with imaging as needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and equipment.
• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable.
• Ensure patient comfort and address questions.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred but not required).
