Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Buford, GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. This full-time role involves three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends, and a regional float between Lawrenceville North, Lawrenceville and Buford clinics.

You will assist providers with patient care, perform vital signs, basic lab work, wound care, and help with imaging where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork, with good communication skills.
• Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
• Perform vital signs, document patient information, and ensure accurate medical records.
• Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed.
• Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable.
• Ensure high levels of patient comfort, addressing questions and concerns.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a healthy environment.
