Job summary

Merakey's Parkside Recovery Program in Germantown, Philadelphia is seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination rooms, maintain the flow of patients in the medical department, and assist providers with examinations.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED and Medical Assistant certification; phlebotomy certification is preferred. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with benefits and competitive hourly pay of $19.24.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for examination.

• Measure vital signs.
• Draw and collect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for lab analysis.

We are seeking Medical Assistant to join our team at our Parkside Recovery Program in our Germantown location in Philadelphia, PA location.

The Medical Assistant will:

• prepare rooms for examination
• maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department
• prepare electronic charts for providers
• assist providers with the examination of individuals
• measure vital signs
• draw andcollect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• respond to medical emergencies
• complete EKGs
• complete required documentation in a timely manner

Earn $19.24 per hour (40 hrs per week)
