Job summary

Merakey's Parkside Recovery Program in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support outpatient care. You will prepare rooms, assist providers, measure vital signs, draw specimens, and help maintain electronic charts for smooth patient flow.

This full-time position offers benefits including health, retirement, and daily pay options. Typical shift is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with opportunities for growth and professional development within Merakey's

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year working as a Medical Assistant, ideally in behavioral health.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for examination.
• Maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department.
• Prepare electronic charts for providers.
• Assist providers with examinations.
• Measure vital signs.
• Draw and collect bodily fluids and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Complete EKGs.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.

We are seeking Medical Assistant to join our team at our Parkside Recovery Program in our Germantown location in Philadelphia, PA location.

The Medical Assistant will:

• prepare rooms for examination
• maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department
• prepare electronic charts for providers
• assist providers with the examination of individuals
• measure vital signs
• draw and collect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• respond to medical emergencies
• complete EKGs
• complete required documentation in a timely manner

Earn $19.24 per hour (40 hrs per week)
