United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is opening a brand-new vein and vascular clinic in Wesley Chapel, FL, seeking a Clinical Technologist to join the ground‑up team. After training, you’ll perform clinical support tasks independently in a fast‑paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Must have experience with sterile field.
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC’s Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

UVVC is growing — and Wesley Chapel is next! We’re opening a brand-new vein and vascular clinic and looking for driven, passionate people to help build our newest team from the ground up. About the Role:

As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast‑paced clinic environment.
