Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is seeking a Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and clinical tasks. After your training (4-6 weeks), you will perform duties independently in a fast-paced clinic. Entry-level role ideal for MAs and PCTs expanding skills.

You will assist with patient care, rooming, procedure support, and documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and safety. Compensation may include base salary, bonuses, and incentive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program preferred.
• Strong communication skills and EMR experience.
• Dependable, punctual and knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Patient care support, rooming, verification, vitals documentation and updating status in the EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms, support sterile/non-sterile procedures and assist in surgical procedures.
• Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory and stock exam rooms.
• Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality per UVVC policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

Total compensation is based on experience and may include base salary, bonuses, and other incentive pay.
