Job summary

Spectrum Human is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses with examinations, vaccinations, and routine vital signs. You will maintain EHR documentation, assist with scheduling, and coordinate insurance verification in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The role requires strong computer skills, familiarity with Medicaid billing, and prior MA or CMA/RMA experience; a high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems and scheduling appointments is essential.
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing regulations.
• Medical Assistant experience (3+ years) or CMA/RMA preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, procedures, and vital signs.
• Administer vaccinations, collect laboratory specimens, and run basic lab tests.
• Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and help schedule appointments.
• Manage insurance verification and interdisciplinary communications.
