Job summary

InterCare Community Health Network is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support providers across the clinic, with travel to other InterCare sites as needed. You will perform clinical and administrative duties, while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to policies.

The role requires MA certification or equivalent education, plus BLS within two months. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a Federally Qualified Health Center.

Qualifications

• Requires MA certificate program or an associate degree in medical assisting.
• BLS certification must be obtained within two months of employment.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Knowledge of clinical guidelines and patient care policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of clinical tasks to support the provider team.
• Assists with examinations, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Discharges patients with education, follow-up instructions and referrals.
• Administers immunizations and other medications per policy.
• Maintains in-house laboratory testing and documentation; supports daily operations.
