Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) is an academic medical center serving Southern Nevada. This role supports physicians and licensed providers in a clinic, performing routine clerical and clinical tasks to deliver cost-effective, high-quality patient care.

The candidate should graduate from a recognized medical assistant program, have at least 1 year of primary care experience, and obtain an Office Laboratory Assistant license within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized medical assistant program.
• At least 1 year of primary care experience.
• BLS certification required or accepted by AHA.
• Must obtain Office Laboratory Assistant (OLA) license within 60 days of hire.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and licensed providers in ambulatory/clinical settings.
• Perform routine clerical and clinical tasks within the clinic.
• Support cost-effective, quality patient care and smooth clinic operations.
