Job summary

The Neighborhood Clinic in Las Vegas, NV invites a compassionate Clinical Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will support physicians and clinicians in examinations, manage vital signs, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Medical Assistant credential, EMR experience, and strong phlebotomy skills, with CPR/BLS current or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred.
• CMA (AAMA), RMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 1+ year of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sanitation and supply stocking.
• Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform phlebotomy as directed.
• Process and manage lab specimens, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards.
