Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking Medical Assistants at levels I, II, and III to support patient care across Houston locations. Selected candidates are placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, ensuring safety, and performing delegated tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and MA program graduation.
• BLS certification, medical terminology knowledge, and basic computer skills.
• No experience required with MA certification OR 1+ year related MA experience without certification/registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision.
• Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks (MA II/III).
• Serve as a resource for less experienced staff.
