Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs
• Perform routine clinical procedures and participate in patient education
• Enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records
• Perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of certification
