Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for Kresgeville Family Practice in PA. The role supports clinical operations, pre-charting, preparing patients, and assisting with examinations under the guidance of our care team.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or MA program background, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred, and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience OR graduate of Medical Assistant program required.
• Two years of experience in similar healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS/CPR current or within 60 days of hire; through ARC or AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering healthcare support for the practice.
• Pre-charting and reviewing patient records; coordinate with Care Team.
• Prepare patients for examination; take vital signs and update records.
• Assist with injections/immunizations per state guidelines; maintain supplies.
• Communicate with providers about discharge, labs, and referrals.
• Participate in department meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Handle waste disposal and vaccine temperature logs as required.
• Perform administrative tasks (check-in/out, opening/closing) as needed.
