Job summary

Adventist Health Hanford is seeking a detail-oriented assistant to provide non-invasive, routine technical support under licensed supervision. The role coordinates CMA programs and supports clinic operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include setting up exam rooms, taking vital signs, performing venipunctures, audiometry and vision tests, and maintaining patient recall logs while guiding staff within established policies.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
• CMA or RMA certification preferred
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred
• CHDP training certificate within six months of hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
• Maintains a patient recall system and continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers.
• Obtains vital signs and reports findings to the clinic physician.
• Performs venipunctures, audiometry and vision testing as ordered.
• Coordinates CMA Program and other small programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
