Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required OR CMA/RMA certification.
• Six months MA experience preferred.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Basic understanding of medical documentation and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Under provider direction, assists with patient visits and procedures in a clinic setting.
• May perform front desk duties including telephone work, scheduling, and supply orders.
• If applicable, phlebotomy duties including collection and processing of specimens.
