OSU Wexner Medical Center is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will assist with routines, immunizations, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and medication administration under supervision.

Proficiency with EMR systems, strong verbal communication, and the ability to learn new processes and equipment are essential. Education required is High School/GED; licensure such as CMA/RMA and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Efficient use of EMR and related clinical tasks may be assigned.

A Medical Assistant is responsible for skilled delivery of patient care and procedures; administrating medication, knowledge of immunizations, point of care testing, experience with phlebotomy, triaging patients, and direct patient care, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, possess ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required. Efficiency in use of EMR (electronic medical records) and additional clinical tasks may be assigned.
