Work Hours

The practice hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Your primary schedule will be during these hours, with occasional needs to work outside these hours to serve patients.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist providers to maximize patient volume by preparing patients, administering medications, performing procedures, and returning calls promptly.
• Complete physician orders, facilitate care, and coordinate labs and diagnostic tests. Provide patient instructions and follow up on referrals and test results.
• Maintain effective patient communication, ensure accurate medical records, and document procedures properly.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean and stocked, and all safety and regulatory standards are met.
• Perform administrative duties including greeting patients, scheduling, pre-certifications, insurance processing, and billing.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through an accredited organization.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a physician’s office.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong office skills, patient-centered mindset, excellent time management, multitasking abilities, and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
