Job Description

As the Certified Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist, your responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying the best method for blood collection based on patient needs and medical orders.
  2. Explaining the blood drawing process to patients and preparing them for the procedure.
  3. Using sterile techniques to prepare the collection site and draw blood.
  4. Maintaining accurate records of blood draws and patient information.
  5. Following safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  6. Maintaining patient records in our electronic health records system.
  7. Scheduling and coordinating appointments.
  8. Collecting and processing labs.
  9. Performing Covid testing.
What To Expect

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Support healthcare professionals with patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and routine procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, charting, and inventory management.
  • Download lab results and communicate with patients.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What You’ll Bring

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant / Phlebotomy Technician certification required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical assistant role, preferably in a clinic or outpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.

Compensation

Starting at $23+ per hour plus benefits. Compensation varies based on experience and other factors.
