Qualifications

  • Certified as a Medical Assistant with a current BCLS certification.
  • Experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Completion of a venipuncture class is a plus.

**Shift** : Mon- Fri 8am-5pm

**Location:** 100 HOSPITAL DR, Hendersonville, 28792

**The role you’ll contribute:**

Provide patient care in the office setting, meeting the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

**The value you’ll bring to the team:**

+ Provide patient care in the office setting.

+ Provide care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

+ Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician.

+ Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.

+ Ability to assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.

+ Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:**

**Minimum qualifications:**

+ High School graduate or equivalent

+ BCLS - Basic Life Support Current American Heart Association within 90 Days

+ National Healthcare Association (NHA)

+ American Medical Technologists (AMT)

+ American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

+ National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

+ National Associate of Health Professionals (NAHP)

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Completion of venipuncture class

+ 1 year medical office experience
