Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant/CMA or CNA assists providers in care, medical record documentation, and treatment so patients can receive quality care. Obtain and process doctors orders. Provide good customer service on the phone, or with patients, doctors and other medical staff.

Education/Certification: Graduation from an accredited High school program or higher. Certificate of training for Nurse’s Aide. Current BLS. Valid driver’s license.
Experience: CMA course preferred, not required. Preferable, but not mandatory, 6 months of PACU/Medical Surgical.
Equipment/Technology: Experience with computers and office equipment, required.
Language/Communication: The ability to read and communicate effectively in English thus assuring effective communication with all hospital staff, medical staff, patients and their families by providing and maintaining open lines of communication. Bilingual is a plus. Must understand medical terminology.
Mathematical Skills: General Math skills.
Mental Capabilities: Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments. Must be organized, multi-tasker, and a critical thinker. Must be able to understand input from the supervisor and/or manager concerning errors and instructions. Will need a better than average attention span in order to listen, read and remember verbal and written instructions. The ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
Interpersonal: Good communication skills, and ability to work well with others. Team player and flexible.
Performance: Can work well under pressure and meet multiple and competing deadlines. Good customer service skills. Can recognize and understand the complexity and reflex-testing of laboratory complexity. Basic computer knowledge along with basicknowledge of CPSI and patient scheduling. Must be able to handle/defuse conflict issues with patients, their families and staff.
