Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a certified Medical Assistant for our Burien clinic. The role focuses on supporting patient flow, rooming, and providing safe, timely care, with injections and venipuncture under physician orders.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and accurate charting to coordinate comprehensive patient care. WA MA-Certificate or interim license and BLS CPR within 90 days are required or pursued; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Washington State MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License and pass the exam within the 90-day probationary period.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient
• Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physician’s order; perform venipuncture
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination

Position Summary: Full‑time Medical Assistant position available for our Burien Medical Clinic. Ideal candidates will have proven excellent customer service skills, demonstrate an enthusiastic & professional demeanor, and excel at multi‑tasking. Medical Assistants are an integral part of the care team, ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.
